What we say

It may be "full of milk goodness" as the label claims, but it's also full of sugar. A single 90 g tub of Nestle Milkybar Dairy Snack contains 3 teaspoons of sugar. While some of this comes from the sugar in the milk, sugar is also the second ingredient behind milk on the ingredients list, and on top of that sweetened condensed milk is also added. On the plus side, it provides a significant amount of calcium - one tub contains 25% of the recommended daily intake for an eight-year-old.

This one's best kept for a special treat, and would benefit from being served over some fresh fruit.

Additives listed: Emulsifiers (472b,471), Food Acid (270), Vegetable Gum (407), Preservative (202), Natural Colour (160a).
